The Ladies Philoptochos Society, Chapter # 5059, does a myriad of benevolent acts locally. We help people in need of food, clothing, and shelter, birthday cakes for needy children, supplies for an adoption agency that has many handicap children. We give to the Children's hospital, A.C.T., the Adult Cancer center, and Voices for kids, to name a few charities we support. We have rarely had to turn anybody away, and our future goal is to not turn anyone away.
